We are a new current affairs magazine, The Horizon, who feature world, health and business stories for 16-25 year old's in a middle market demographic. If this is an interest to you, then you are in the right place!

My editors will make my stories, interesting, captivating and intense, for your entertainment. US Election 2020:​

On the 3rd November, over 150 million Americans voted for their choice of president for the next 4 years. With campaigns and protests, fury between the democrats and the republicans sparked.

Following the recent results, Joe Biden is the apparent winner, being the 46th President of the United States of America. At 8pm on 7th November, he completed his first speech in Delaware  in front of a huge crowd.

Process of creating webpages

  I started off by creating an account on Wix and choosing a template i thought was appropiate for my current affairs magazine website: I played around with the layout, images, fonts, text and boxes so i could get used to it and that i would be comfortable changing it to my own house style etc. I began to take original images for my website, including a black lives matter post, a Corona vaccine image etc so i had some articles for my audience to read. After publishing a few articles, i began my audio content by doing an interview with Heather Crosbie about the environment which i included on my home page. I chose a grey- white and red colour scheme for my website, as it looks professional, fresh and is the similar house style as my contents pages. I also added a CoronaVirus Snapshot to match the conventions of other websites such as Time.
